Who Am I?
My name is Jianna Voghel. I am a marketing and management double major with experience in marketing within the food industry, construction industry, and event promotion. I created this blog as an outlet and example of my creativity and ability to create. I hope to use this platform as a professional space where I can show my past work and current abilities.
First and foremost, I am a go getter. When I set my mind to a task, I am insatiable until I achieve it. My growth into my sorority exemplifies this. Since freshman year of college, I have been striving to be a formative part of my sorority. Never holding any positions, I was dissatisfied with my impact. I was never discouraged by the amount of times I failed, and I am unafraid to tell you that I lost every election. I still continued to apply for position desperately waiting for my chance to make an impact. This past semester I was elected President of my sorority and my goal to make a lasting impact came into reach. I am now working to create lasting change in my sorority through an implementation of a Diversity and Inclusion Chair. This chain of events shows my tenacity and drive to achieve my goals.
Through my work as a Sales and Marketing Intern for Swoffle & Paino Organics, I participated in content creation, social media highlights, and biweekly farmer’s markets. At farmer markets, I tabled and marketed my products in person. These markets taught me how to build relationships in person that will lead to online participation. I am a very confident and outgoing individual, which allows me to communicate and express my excitement about my products with customers.
I also was the PR and Marketing Chair for Outreach Tulane, which is a student-led day of service on camp. I assisted in designing the logo for Outreach Tulane and created marketing materials such as magnets, buttons, and stickers. Once again, I employed my social skills and tabled on Tulane’s campus to spread enthusiasm for the event and the new social media account.
I am an eager and hardworking individual. I hold myself to very high standards and expect the same from my finished projects.
